Lash Extension After Care

​

  • Do not get lashes wet for 24-48 hours. Light mist from a nano mister is fine

  • Avoid hot steam or sauna for 24 hours

  • Do not rub your eyes

  • Only use water based lash extension safe mascara (available for purchase at Dash of Lash)

  • If applying mascara do so from middle to tip, avoid root area

  • Use water based eye makeup remover

  • Do not perm your lashes once you have lash extensions.

  • Do not use a mechanical ( clamp) eyelash curler

  • Do not pull on your lashes (this may cause your natural lashes to come out prematurely)

  • To extend the life of your lashes, come in for a touchup every 2-3 weeks

  • Enjoy your new look!

Lash Lift & Tint After Care

  • NO: heat, steam (including cooking over steaming stovetop), saunas, water, oils, lotions, creams, shampoos, face washes, makeup remover wipes or lads on lashes for a minimum of 48 hours after service.

  • We also advise that because the lashes are still malleable (shape shifting) a side sleeper or face sleeper can notice one or more eyelashes may raise or drop, leaving the lashes misshaped. Sleeping on your back is best.

  • Avoid face washes that are mainly oily as this can also cause the lashes to drop prematurely.

  • Allow 48 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 48 hours, you may apply mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of makeup products you desire; it will not affect the lashes. 

  • Avoid waterproof mascara. 

  • Enjoy your lifted and tinted lashes for the next 2-3 months.

BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE

  • Avoid getting the brow area wet for 24 hours

  • Avoid contact with direct sunlight, tanning beds, saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools for the next 48 hours

  • Avoiding excessive rubbing or touching of the treated area for 24 hours

  • Avoid using exfoliating (be it AHA, BHA or scrubs) and anti-aging skincare around the brow area for three days either side of your treatment

  • Avoid fake tanning products (including gradual tan) on the face for three days either side of your treatment, as it can discolor the eyebrow tint (unless you’re after khaki colored brows)

  • You should avoid applying any further heavy make up (foundations, etc) on the area around the brow for 24 hours

HENNA & TINT AFTERCARE​

 

  • -Don’t wet henna-dyed brows for at least 12 hours after treatment.

  • -Use as little as possible of cleansing products.

  • -Oil-based skincare products and scrubs also will cause color to fade.​
