Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free and relaxing that most clients fall asleep during the procedure.

However, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only using a Certified Eyelash Extension Specialist. Make sure to do your homework and only get your lashes done by a lisenced facial specialist who has gone through proper lash training/certification.

After all it is your eyes, you deserve the best!

Dash of Lash - Lash success story

Next time some one tells you "Lashes damage your natural lashes" you can tell them...... Only bad lash stylists damage lashes, a good stylist can actually help your lashes grow!

We have successfully rehabbed the following Dash of Lash client lashes from ewww to wow !

After 3 years of her going to a self proclaimed "self taught lash stylist" and having "cluster lashes" applied to several lashes and even to the skin caused damage to her natural lashes to the point of no return.

This "Lash stylist" should be ashamed of herself! She should have never continued to apply lashes on her client once she noticed she was causing that amount of damage.

Dash of Lash we can stop the damage and recommend volume lashes (lighter and fluffier than classic lashes) or we can safely remove your "bad lashes" and allow your lashes to recover.

This clients' Natural lashes have done a complete 180 in just 2 months and have grown so much that you can barely see where those bald spots were anymore!

It's a great feeling when you not only help a client rehab her lashes, but also boost her self confidence. So proud of this client for following our recommendations and keeping her lashes clean and healthy.

When getting your brows waxed for the first time at Dash of Lash, it is important to know what to expect. Our Master Brow stylist will walk you through each step during your session. But if you are like me you like to know what to expect. Your first appointment will probably last up to 30 min. Your brow stylist will discuss your "brow goals" before starting. Next, your optimal brow shape will be mapped out using the "golden ratio". Once mapped out, your stylist will show you what the desired shape will look like. Once you are happy with the shape mapped out, waxing begins using our gentle cream wax. When Waxing is complete, precision tweezing is done to make sure all undesired stray hairs are removed. Next, brows are tamed with scissors to make sure you aren't left with "Mad Scientist brows".Our stylist always applies a calming cream to help protect your freshly waxed skin. The final step is our clients favorite... (Make sure to ask for a mirror to watch) Your stylist will teach you how to properly fill in your brows at home. Who doesn't love a free brow tutorial?

Individual Eyelash Extensions add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. Lash Extensions may consist of silk, mink, or synthetic hair. Methods of applying the extensions include full strips, clusters, and individual, one-by-one extensions. At Dash of Lash we only apply individual (one-to-one) extensions. That means only 1 lash extension is applied to 1 natural lash. We never use strips or clusters!!!! We only use the highest quality lashes and lash adhesives. At Dash of Lash you are paying for quality.

Beware of cheap/discounted lash extension deals. You may be paying for "cluster" lashes, or strips. Those types of lashes are not made for long time use and can actually damage your lash growth cycle.

With individual lash extensions, your natural lashes will not be harmed.
